“Your living is determined not so much by what live brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.”
-John Homer Miller
Merry Christmas, everyone!
As we bring this crazy year to a close, I think it’s important to reflect on the attitude you have brought to your life this year. Life has brought a LOT of things that are beyond our control. How have you processed and handled it all? Were you proactive or reactive? Were you an agent of positive or negative change through your thoughts, words, and actions? Did you handle the challenges with integrity, strength, and patience or with anger, impatience, and a rudeness towards others that only added to the negativity reflected in their actions?
Choose to be a light in the darkness. If you look for things to be grateful for, they can always be found. One of the great benefits of practicing gratitude is how it improves your attitude and the way you look at things. The quality of your life is dependent upon your state of mind.
