WELCOME TO THE PLANT YOUR ENERGY MOVEMENT!
As we launch Plant Your Energy, I want to share with you the importance of the concept in my life. I have experienced the effects of planting your energy on extremely negative and positive levels. With every thought that we think and action that we take, we are planting our energy in the world. I am aware that there may be some judgment that comes with what I am doing because of my past, but I am prepared for that and want to say that I would not be the person that I am today if it were not for that past. My hope is to connect with even more people around the world because of this past.
So many of us have different kinds of broken pieces within us and I think we all want to heal those pieces and move forward into something better. I am here to tell you, as a living example myself, that you can transcend your pain, whether it was inflicted on you or by you. Each one of us can wake up and embrace the blessing of a new start each day. This is true for me even as I sit in a Colorado prison. The power of the mind is unbelievable. When you put In the work to change the way you think about things, you truly do change your outlook on life—and yourself!
Being aware of our flaws and our mistakes is a necessary part of moving forward into something better. Not letting go, refusing to extend forgiveness, and allowing your mind to keep you in a state of self- judgment only keeps you trapped in a place you don’t want to be. Plant Your Energy wants to awaken within you that part of you that knows you are not your mistakes and that you can—and SHOULD—pour forth into the world, in whatever unique form it takes with you, all of the passion that people may not normally get to see.
My intention for Plant Your Energy is to do my part to help others improve themselves and the world. Becoming consciously aware of your thoughts, actions, and how they impact the world is critical. There is a ripple effect in all that each of us does and I want to point out that you can always turn things around. That is what I have done in my life. It has taken years of developing self-discipline, dedication to my growth, and a steadfast commitment to changing how I think to get to where I am today. But I got here. You can too.
Plant Your Energy aims to dissolve the divisions we are experiencing in the world today. It aims to bring to life and celebrate all of the differences within us. We want to make it clear that Plant Your Energy is so much more than a small business that is selling t-shirts. This is just the first piece of a puzzle that we hope will transform the way people live their lives.
