Happy Holidays everyone! It has been much too long since my last post.

I started this website with the help of my mom when I was still incarcerated. What you see here is a piece of my dream to create a successful business that helps people live their best lives. Since my release, I have been overwhelmed with adjusting to life in a world I didn’t recognize when I walked out of prison. As a result, I have neglected this aspect of my business, which I am sad about. The plan is to put more focus onto this platform so I can connect with anyone who takes the time to visit the Plant Your Energy site.

In the last year and a half I have developed a character development life skills curriculum from my book and I am now teaching the class inside prisons. The curriculum is by no means just for those who are or have been incarcerated, though. The content in my book applies to any of you who struggle with your demons and just don’t know how to face them and DO something about it. I encourage you to read the book and obtain the workbook (on Amazon) and make a commitment to yourself going into 2024 that you will put in the work it takes to become the best version of yourself.

Life is short and I have been reminded of that numerous times over the last 18 months. I have lost my stepdad, then 5 months later my mom, and most recently, the man I wanted to build my life with. We always think we can “do it tomorrow,” but I want to encourage you to quit taking each moment you are blessed with for granted. During this holiday season, remember to be grateful for WHO you have around you, not WHAT you have around you. I would give up anything to have my mom, stepdad, and boyfriend by my side on Christmas morning. Mend your broken relationships and let those you love know how important they are to you.
